Elegant all original piece of teal blue Mary Gregory with glass insert that depicts a young girl at water’s edge with her fishing pole cast into the pond. Detailed engraved floral scenes decorate the silverplated holder which is marked ‘Quadruple Plate – Middletown Plate Co. – Hard White Metal – No. 1822’. The stand with handle raised measures approximately 12 1/2″ high the cake tray portion measures 11″ x 10″. The blue Mary Gregory insert measures approximately 5 1/4″ x 6″. Note the full figured birds that are depicted on the top of the handle, what a remarkable and detailed feature.
