Victorian Americus Oil Banquet Lamp 1893 US Glass Company – Clear Glass – 28 1/2″ height!

Tall and impressive ‘Americus’ clear glass lamp made by the United States Glass Company. Circa 1893. This lamp is all complete with base and fount, burner, chimney, shade holder and clear shade. This lamp is done with all clear glass. This lamp measures 28 1/2″ high to the top of the chimney, the base is 6 1/4″ x 6 1/4″ and the clear glass globe is 7 1/2″ diameter. The burner on this lamp is marked, ‘No. 2 Queen Anne’ and the burner on the knob is marked, ‘Scovill Mfg. Company – Made in U.S.A’. This lamp came from out of a Missouri person’s personal collection of over 300 oil lamps. We hand selected this oil lamp out of this massive collection.
