Antique Amphora Pottery Vase with Detailed Full Figural Birds

This is a wonderful quality example of Amphora pottery that features two full figural love birds that are perched on the top edge of the vase. Note the different glazes that bring wonderful contrast and beauty along with impressed and incised molding and outlines to this attractive vase. This vase measures 10 1/2″ high and at the widest point is 7 1/2″ wide, while the top opening is more 3 5/8″ diameter. Note how the branches extend out away from the vase to form two small handles.
