This eagle was purchased from Galen Lambrecht, of Wood River, Nebraska. Mr Lambrecht had purchase this eagle in Grand Island, Nebraska the summer of 1981. This eagle was sold by the Grand Island Eagles Club at auction and the building has since been torned down. This zinc made eagle is from the Turn-of-the-Century and has good old gold paint. The wing span measures 34″ wide. The eagle was made by the M.J. Frang Co. Manufacturers, Camden, N.J.’. 
This eagle was examined by Mr. Louis Picek of West Branch, IA who is an authority on folk art and Mr. Picek dated this eagle to have a circa of 1880 to 1890. Again this is a very unique piece of American Folk Art. The Eagle measures 22″ Height, 33″ from tip of eagles wings, 17″ Depth. –
