This fabulous, large patinated bronze sculpture. A wonderful bronze roaring lion. The sculpture is signed Viidal near the front right foot and stamped FRANCE on the back edge. This bronze measures 25 1/4″ length, 6 1/4″ Depth and 14″ height.
Louis Vidal (1832-1892) was a French sculptor born in Nimes. Vidal contracted a disease as a young child that left him progressively blind.
