Original Bill E Grin mechanical bank manufactured by the J. & E. Stevens Co., Cromwell, CT. .This is a hard bank to find in nice condition. A super high quality piece . To operate, push a coin into the slot in his head and his tongue will stick out and the eyes will roll. (And you will smile)  Very simple operation and the bank works well and comes with a ‘Pat. Feb 2, 1875’ coin trap. (the trap does not fit the best) The back of the bank is cast ” PATD. APLD. FOR “. Measures 4 1/2″ Height., is 3 1/2″ wide by 3 1/2” deep. Circa 1915.
