This ship is named the “Oregon”, Pat APLD FOR is also on the side of the bank in raised lettering. This bank is in the book The Penny Bank Book by Andy & Susan Moore pg. 130 #1450. This battleship Oregon helped bottle up Spanish Cervera during the Spanish- American War in Santiago Harbor, Cuba, 1898. The bank was made shortly afterwards. Made by J. & E. Stevens US, circa 1891-1906. Oregon Ship Bank. Measures: 4″ tall x 5 7/8″ long x 1 1/2″ wide.
