Antique Country Store Display Cabinet Blue Bird Handkerchief Advertising

This is a colorful all original advertising display showcase that was used in country stores for selling ‘Blue Bird – A Man’s Handkerchief’. Notice that you could buy a handkerchief one for 10 cents, or another box has 3 for 25 cents. The top of the box is hinged and reveals the storage compartment where the handkerchiefs were stored. The bottom of the box reads, ‘This display case is the property of The R.W. Eldridge Co. and is given you with the express agreement that you are to display and use same for the sole purpose of selling Blue Bird Handkerchiefs. Arrange the packs as follows; place the thin tier of cartons in front and the thick tier of cartons in rear of case.’ The back side of this display case is identified, ‘The H.D. Beach Co. – Coshocton, Ohio – USA’, is the maker of this display cabinet. What a colorful and good original condition this cabinet is in. The measurements are 12″ wide by 8″ deep and 7″ high in the back and 5″ high in the front of the display.
