Vintage Antique Wood Jointed Eugene the Jeep toy doll from the comic strip Popeye. The segments are a combination of wood and composition. He measures 12 1/2″ tall and is marked on the front ‘Jeep – 1935 – King Features Syndicate’. Exceptional original condition and all the segments are still held tightly together. Notice the wood segmented tail that gives ‘Jeep’ a balanced stand when in his upright position. Again, exceptional original condition on this toy dating to 1935.
