Antique Majolica Abalone Sea Shell Center Bowl

This is a bright three toned colored majolica seashell center bowl with the exterior of the bowl done in a abalone seashell design. This is an English piece of Majolica as it has an English registry mark on the underside of the bowl. The impressed mark is not legible enough for me to give you the specifics, however the Rd in the center of the mark is very easy to read. On the underside of the bowl there is only one other marking that I can see, and it is done with a darker blue color, and it appears to be,’x9′, if I was guessing what it reads. This is a large center bowl that measures 12 1/2″ wide by 9 1/2″ at the widest points. The bowl stands approximately 4″ high. Excellent all original condition and notice the three brown colored seashell feet on this bowl, for a fun and appropriate look. This is a beautiful piece of English Majolica that you will not want to miss adding to your own personal majolica collection.
