All original antique signed Mettlach stein which is a 1/2 liter stein. Notice the detailed informative markings on the bottom which read, ‘Mettlach – Gegen Nachbildune – Geschutzt – #2231. Detailed scene of three men enjoying a drink in a pub and the one is playing a musical stringed instrument. Also notice the emblem design. The full figured joker figure on the top of the hinged lid makes for an impressive statement as well. This piece measures 9″ high and at the widest is 5 1/2″ wide to the end of the handle. The diameter of this stein is 4 1/2″ diameter on the bottom. This is a detailed Mettlach stein that you will not want to miss adding to your own personal collection.
