Antique Oak Tea Cart – Server – Paalman Furniture Grand Rapids Michigan – 1918 – Original finish

Antique quarter sawn oak Tea Cart – Server is very good original finish. This tea cart has a glass serving tray that fits on top. The cart has drop leaves that open and the handle will drop providing an oval shaped serving table.  There is a drawer that opens to the opposite side of the handle. There is a metal tag on the inside of the drawer that reads: “Be sure it has a Paalman Drop Handle Look for the Catch” Paalman Furniture Company Makers of the “Drop Handle” Line Grand Rapids, Michigan.  Furniture label on the underside that reads: Made in Grand Rapids Paalman Furniture Co.”. On the underside by the handle it is dated in the wood Patented May 28, 1918. Measures 26″ x 16″ and is 29″ Height. Each of the drop sides measure 11″ long. Circa 1900.
