Antique Occupational Koken Congress Chair Shaving Mug – Personalized

Original antique occupational shaving mug which advertises on the bottom of the mug, ‘Decorated by Koken Barber’s – St. Louis, Missouri – Congress Chair – Best in the North’. This personalized mug depicts a man driving what appears to be a traveling merchant’s horse drawn wagon. The name on the mug appears to read, ‘G.G. Splitstoser’. This mug measures 3 3/4″ high and has a diameter of 3 3/4″ on the base while the handle extends out another inch. There is a rough small place on the handle of the mug where the glaze has either been worn through the glaze or a small nick has taken off the glaze. This is still a nice find if you collection occupational shaving mugs.
