Antique Oil Lamp with Baccarat Opaque Art Glass Shade – E.M. & Co. Boudoir Oil

This is a remarkable all original boudoir oil lamp that is made with high quality throughout. The shade is marked, ‘Baccarat’ and is done with white opaque art glass shade with gold enameled floral draping garland designs. The burner is marked by the company, ‘E.M. & Co. The Boudoir’ on the knob that raises the wick. This lamp dates to 1880 to 1890 time period. Note the detail is carried throughout on this lamp down to the footed base with scrolling metal overlay. When the lamp is fully assembled it measures 17″ high to the top of the glass chimney, the shade has a diameter of approximately 5 1/2″, while the base is 4 1/4″ x 4 1/4″.
