This ice bucket is an exceptional rare and unusual piece of cut glass done in the pattern referred to as Alhambra, (Greek Key). The cut was done by the Meriden Cut Glass Company. You can see an example of this piece in the American Cut Glass book by Pearson copyright 1969 on page 121 classified under the title, Rarities. The rim and handle are made of ‘Sterling’ and are signed. Notice the attractive geometrical linked chain that encircles the top of this bucket in an etched design. Measures 6″ high to the top rim, is 6 1/4″ diameter at the top and 4 3/4″ diameter at the base. This bucket is in excellent original condition.
