Antique Tin Donkey Cigarette Dispenser & Match Holder – Advertises Arroyo Grande – Half Moon Junction. Pull on the ear of donkey and the tail opens letting cigarette roll out. Measures: 10 1/4″ tall x 8 3/4″ wide x 4″ deep.
These novelty mechanical dispensers were produced by the Schwartzbaugh Manufacturing Co. of Toledo, Ohio during the 1920’s, and are referenced in the 1992 book entitled, “Smokerama” by Phillip Collins.
