Antique U S Mail Box – Cast Iron & Tin- 1904

U S Mail Box door is made of cast iron. Reads Bates & Hawley Patent June 27, 1899. Has a pivotal letter drop and reads U S Mail. Style 3A Patented August 12 1902, Signal Mail Box Co. Joilet, Illinois Approved by the Postmaster General. Measures 18 1/2″ Depth, 11 1/2″ Height and 6″ Wide. On the side there is a slot that you could slide your address name card. The flag for mail pickup is complete and intact.
