This is an outstanding Victorian Rosewood Credenza. Measures 70″ Height, 20″ Depth and 61″ Width. Magnificent Renaissance Revival rosewood Victorian credenza. This remarkable credenza features three detailed porcelain plaques. Two oval plaques on the door fronts depict detailed floral themes, while the rectangular center porcelain plaque shows a mother with young children on a mountain path, with goats at their sides. Gorgeous marquetry with gold gilding features highlight this cabinet. The two front doors feature the oval hand painted floral porcelain plaques which are encircled with beaded brass trim and gold gilded rosewood ribbon frames. Note the front sides of the cabinet are concave with detailed scallop fan designs towards the base of the sides. The interior of the cabinet and shelves are made of lovely bird’s eye maple. The cabinet is all original, exceptional original condition. This cabinet is a showpiece! Circa: 1870.
