Antique Biscuit or Cracker Jar – Wedgwood Blue Jasperware

This is a fine all original marked piece of ‘Wedgwood’ only blue jasperware biscuit jar decorated with winged cherubs and beautiful women encircling the jar. This jar measures right at 6″ high to the top of the finial on the lid and when the handle is up the total height is 8 1/2″ high, and the diameter at the widest is 6″. This same type of Wedgwood biscuit jar can be found in the Wedgwood reference book titled, ‘Wedgwood Jasper Ware – A Shape Book and Collectors Guide’ by Michael Herman on page 27. Exceptional all original piece that will make a fine addition to your own personal Wedgwood collection.
