Antique Wedgwood Blue Jasperware Two Piece Cheese Dish

Beautiful all original two piece Wedgwood blue jasperware cheese dish that is in excellent all original condition. The wonderful contrasting colors of white on blue background makes the scenes of people, plants, animals and cupids jump out at you as you look at the dish and under plate. The under plate measures 9 3/8″ in diameter and the total height of both items is 5″ high to the top of the finial. The diameter of the lid is 6 1/2″ in diameter. The bottom under plate is marked with the impressed ‘Wedgwood’ signature. This style is featured on page 60, in the reference book, ‘Wedgwood Jasperware This is a nice all original example of Wedgwood, one that you will be sure to want to add to your own personal collection.
