Antique Westinghouse Electric & Mfg. Co Service Advertising Thermometer

Antique wooden thermometer that advertises, Westinghouse Service. This thermometer was advertising for the Westinghouse Service Department at 426 Marietta Street in Atlanta, Georgia or 210 East 6th Street at Charlotte, North Carolina. Notice the phone numbers on the bottom of this thermometer. There is a day phone of 0100 or 504, and then evening phones for both businesses, of 1287 or 1985-J. This has to help date this sign to the early 1900’s. There is a marking that tells us this thermometer is a Taylor Thermometer. The thermometer is still working and this piece measures 21″ long is 6 1/2″ wide at the widest portion and is 5″ wide at the base and approximately 7/8″ thick. What a great all original old piece of advertising! Don’t miss this one!
