Antique Williams Murphy Co. Broken Bow, NE Wood Covered Oil Can

Unique and original old metal oil can that was originally lined with a wooden cover. On this wooden cover is the following information, some which is harder to read. ‘William Murphy Co. – ?? Oil Heavy Royal Auto’. On the opposite side of the barrel it reads, ‘? L. Bowman – Broken Bow, Neb.’ It appears that this oil barrel was shipped to Broken Bow, Nebraska. This piece measures 15″ high, and has a diameter of 10 1/2″. There is a wire bale handle for ease in lifting this barrel. What a fun primitive advertising piece for you auto collectors. –
