This all original antique advertising sign is quick to catch your eyes and to touch your heart. It depicts a young barefooted boy in this torn clothes with a mischievous smile on his face holding his Elgin watch in his hand and the bottom caption that reads, ‘My Elgin’s all Right’. The sign is over wood and is marked in the lower right hand corner by it’s maker, ‘the Meyercord Company, Chicago’. The sign is also marked on the backside and it reads, ‘Notice – Do Not hang sign over radiator, steam pipes or stoves. To clean, wash with cold or lukewarm water. – The Meyercord Company – Chamber of Commerce Bldg. – Chicago’. This sign measures 15″ wide by 22″ high. This sign would make an excellent addition to your Elgin, or advertising collection, as well as hanging in a young boy’s room for a true reminder that boys will be boys!
