In Disgrace and The Reward – Bessie Pease Gutmann Prints in good original condition. Each Print is titled, and artist signed by Bessie Pease Gutman. Each frame measure 15 1/4″ wide by 19 1/4″. Original backing on frames that are done by F.D. Rice of Aurora, Illinois. These were purchased in Iowa originally. Wonderful pair of heartwarming prints by Bessie Pease Gutmann. One is titled ‘In Disgrace’ and the second is ‘The Reward’. The print titled, ‘In Disgrace’ depicts a little girl facing the wall in a corner with her head held downward and a cute loveable collie dog sitting closely behind her. There is a story to be told and one can only imagine the reasons that might have sent her to the corner. The second print features the same little girl and collie dog, and this print is titled, ‘The Reward’, and shows the little girl sharing her ice cream cone with her dog friend. What touching prints that would make an excellent addition to one’s doll or antique print collections.
