Antique art glass cranberry biscuit jar that has a wonderful combination of etched and cut to clear decorations that cover the entire surface of this biscuit jar. The decorations feature a wheat type grass and then bursting star or snowflake shapes that are spaced evenly to give this jar a filled and detailed décor around the complete surface of the jar. The silverplated attached handle with detailed overlay are of equal fine quality and detail as one has the draped acorn and leaves details that extend down from the top rim of the jar that also secures the handle. Then note the lid its self with a raised scrolling floral design that covers the complete surface of the lid. This is a beautiful all original cranberry art glass biscuit jar that is in excellent original condition and is a fine Victorian example of art glass that you will not want to miss adding to your own personal collection. This jar measures 7 3/4″ high to the top of the finial and at the widest point close to the bottom is 5 1/2″ diameter.
