Antique Stamped Brass over Wood Book Ends Book Shelf Holder – December 25,1910

This is a unique piece of art as it features a fire breathing dragon type design that has been stamped into the brass on the bottom and the two removable sides of the book end holder. Notice that on the base of this folk art type piece someone has personalized this piece, E.H.M. -Dec. 25, 1910′. This holder when together measures 9″ wide by 7″ deep the edge of the bottom piece is just 3/4″ high and to the top of the edge of the round sides is 7″ high. This is a unique piece that appears to have been made and given to someone for a Christmas gift in 1910.
