This original bronze statue is truly action packed, and is signed by its artist, ‘P.J. Mene – 1847’. Notice the partridge bird which has been found by the Setter and Pointer dogs. If you are a hunter or enjoy wildlife this bronze would be a must for your collection or home or office. We have been told that this statue is featured in the reference book, ‘Les Animaliers’ on page 132 by Jane Horswell. The date 1847 is the date of the model and the first bronze cast statue was done in 1850. This piece measures 8 1/2″ high and is approximately 16″ long by 7 1/2″ deep.
