Burmese Art Glass Fairy Lamp – Signed Webb

This is an exceptional all original marked ‘Queen’s Burmese Ware – Tho. Webb & Sons – Patented’ fairy lamp with detailed enameled floral designs. This lamp has a unique marked, ‘S. Clarke – Patent Trade Mark Fairy’ insert that is not the normal clear glass but is the Burmese glass and has a detailed and beautiful molded design on the underside. What a unique feature. The dome completes this three piece set and it features a floral draping leave design. Together this set measures 6″ high, at the widest the ruffle around the bottom is 5 1/2″ diameter. This is an exceptional find and to have this marking and the unusual insert makes this Burmese an exceptional find! This fairy lamp is pictured on page 157, figure 543 in the reference book, ‘Fairy Lamps’, by Bob & Pat Ruff.
