This is a unique Mary Gregory cake plate with a round shape and a detailed teal blue insert that features a young girl dressed in her party dress and hat and standing outside beside a fence holding a branch as a bird flies above. This cake plate measures 9 1/4″ diameter and to the top of the handle is 10 1/2″ high. Notice the raised feet on this cake plate that each has engraved and raised detailed designs. This holder is marked by it’s maker, ‘Middletown Plate Co.’ – Hard White Metal’. There is the number 1850 also impressed in the metal.
