Beautiful quarter sawn oak open card file box. This open style card file box is made by The Macey Company, Grand Rapids, Michigan and has their logo on the front. It is made solid, has a nice deep rich color and pattern to the wood with dovetail joints on the corners. This has and adjustable holder that slides back and forth on a metal track to keep cards snug in place. This holds cards up to 5″ in width. It’s in very good original condition. Holder still works perfectly also. This is the perfect style box for setting on your desk to store cards, supplies, etc. in. Also great for storing your photos, recipes. Measures 10″ depth, 5 3/4″ wide and 3 ″ height. Circa 1900.  This came from a collector of oak office furniture in Salt Lake City.
