Antique Cast Iron Caterpillar Toy Tractor 1931-34

Antique Cast Iron Caterpillar Ten Toy Tractor. Circa 1931-34. All original cast iron caterpillar tractor with chain link wheels. Notice on either side of the tractor there is an original label that reads, ‘Caterpillar Reg. U.S. Pat. Off. – Trademark Licensed by Caterpillar Tractor Co.’. This toy measures 5 1/2″ long stands 4 1/4″ high and is 2 3/4″ wide. This toy came with chain link tracking wheels and a nickel-plated driver. Circa 1931 – 1934. This toy is featured in the antique reference book, ‘Cast Iron Automotive Toys’ by Myra Yellin Outwater & Eric B. Outwater and Stevie & Bill Weart on page 82.
