Celluloid Antique Box w/ Shaving Mug & Shaver

At first glance one might think that this celluloid box might have a feminine storage compartment on the inside but when in fact the inside of this celluloid box stores a porcelain shaving mug and straight edge razor. The German shaving mug has a mold number impressed on the bottom, ‘435’. This shaving mug stands 2 1/2″ high and has a diameter 3 1/2″. The straight edge razor is marked, ‘dubl duck – Satincage’. When folded this razor measures 6″ long. The celluloid box is in excellent all original condition and it measures 4″ high and is 9″ x 5 3/4″. What a lovely Victorian lady she is!
