Antique Large Bronze Tripod Censer with Foo Dog figure lid and Elephants base – Incense Burner – 13″ height

This is a fine and well made Chinese bronze censer or incense burner that features a foo dog on the lid as a finial top and the base features three elephant heads with draped ears and the elephant trunks serve as the legs of the censer. This is a heavy bronze piece with a rich dark brown patina. This piece measures 13″ high to the top of the finial, is 11″ wide across the widest bracket arms. This piece weighs 20 pounds.
