Antique Coin Operated Schermack’s Victory Postal Stamp Dispensing Machine

Schermack’s Victory model coin operated machine that allowed one to purchase US government stamps directly from these machines. The plaques on the front of the machines state that there was two options that you could purchase. You could buy three – 3 cent stamps for a Dime, or Four – 1 cent stamps for a Nickel. Both of the machines along with the wooden plaque that supports and holds the two machines together are labeled with the Schermack’s company names. There are plaques on the back of the machines that read, ‘Made by Schermack Products Corporation – Detroit’. Model number 45310 and Number 68716. On the front of the machines it reads, ‘Buy Your Postage stamps from this machine – Direct from the government rolls to you. Service provided by Schermack Products Corporation, Detroit.’ These machines come complete with the keys for the locks in the back of the machines. The board is 15″ x 8″ and the machines are 14″ high.
