Antique Oakes No. 555 Egg Grader Scale with the Original Box

Antique egg grader with the original shipping box. This grader was made by the Oakes Manufacturing Company, Inc. of Tipton, Indiana and is identified as the No. 555 model. It appears that this grader was perhaps hardly ever used, as the original condition is near mint. Notice the numbers on the side of the scale to grade the egg. And the embossed lettering on the scale its self that reads, ‘Made By The Oakes Mfg. Tipton, Ind.’. The shipping box measures 11 3/4″ long is 2 3/4″ wide by 1 3/4″ high.
