Antique Oriental Wood Carved Foo Dog – (also known as a Fu Dog, guardian lion, or buddhist lion) Stylized depiction with a fierce facial expression. This is painted colors of red and black with  gesso over wood and is in good condition with wear in places. John purchased this several years ago from Dick Gustin who was a dealer in Rosalie, Nebraska. Dog measures 18 1/2″ height, 11″ depth and 8 1/2″ wide.)
