This section was a room divider with the columns that supported the stick and ball section. Measures 110″ width, 100″ height (center opening 57″ width and 87″ height). Circa 1900.
A special thanks go out to Paul Tucker for sharing this information and the photo out of the catalog. This Rope & Ball design is featured on page 48 of the Buffalo Grille Co. Catalogue. The Buffalo Grille Co. were the successors to the C.S. Ransom & Co. of Cleveland, Ohio that invented the interwoven spiral work known as Moorish Fretwork. Alexander McIntosh partnered with Moses Younglove Ransom and then relocated to Buffalo, New York.
