This purple Crocuses floral vase is lovely. This is an early fine quality example of signed ‘Galle’ cameo art glass. Note that the Galle signature is vertical on the vase and when using the French Galle cameo art glass reference book written by ‘Blount’ resembles the signature number 28 on page 140. This signature would date this vase to the 1874 to 1904 time period. This sleek and smooth lined vase measures 9 3/4″ high and the base is 2 3/8″ diameter. is unique with the non-typical Intaglio signature.
