Victorian George Jones Majolica three-piece strawberry set consisting of server, creamer and sugar. Server molded with green-glazed strawberry leaves on a white napkin, laid over a pink ground with ochre rim. Mottled green, brown and ochre reverse with three stilt marks. Creamer and sugar molded with a band of strawberry leaves around the center on pink ground. Ochre, diamond shaped rim. Turquoise interior. Similar piece illustrated figure 74, page 53, Schiffer’s ”George Jones Ceramics 1861-1951” by Robert Cluett. Measures 14 3/4″ x 9″ and 4″ Height. This piece has the molded mark from 1861-1873.
