Antique Cast Iron Governor Weights – Red

These are two cast iron windmill weight items which are both considered governor weights. The red ball has a part number which I can’t clearly read, perhaps, ‘208W’ and it measures 6″ diameter, then there is the iron circle attached to the shaft which measures 16 1/2″ long is 5″ diameter and is 2 1/2″ thick. This piece also has some numbers which I am not certain of but perhaps is, ’76 N or H’. This two pieces have been painted red over the years.
