Antique Quarter Sawn Oak Hall seat – Horner – Dolphin Carved

Wow! This is a great hall seat! Original finish in solid quarter sawn oak. This impressive and amazing hall seat has very nice cast brass hooks that are separated by a large, beveled mirror. The crest is carved like R J Horner did with the floral design that is repeated through the frame. The carved dolphin arm rests are amazing in size and detail. The hinged seat of the bench offers a large amount of storage. Note the North Wind face carving in the base that is supported on carved claw feet with Bombay shaped sides. This hall seat measures 58″ width, 21″ depth and 98″ height. Circa 1900. This remarkable piece is guaranteed to make an impressive and amazing statement in your home or office!
