This is another beautiful and fine example of a quality Handel signed lamp, with both the shade and the pedestal being signed Handel. The shade is a reverse painted piece however note the unique combination of both a floral and irregular geometrical design that together bring a beautiful combination and look to this lamp’s shade. The shade is numbered 3618 which was a number reserved for special commission items, measures 16″ in diameter, and the lamp stands 23″ high to the top of the finial. The base on this lamp at the widest is 8″ diameter.
