Antique Handel Reverse Painted Scenic Floral Shade Lamp – Figural Woman on Base

This is a beautiful large lamp made and signed by the quality maker of lamps, the Handel Lamp Company. The shade depicts a reverse painted shade with a nature scene of trees and floral design. Note that the trees on this shade are textured with a sponge type process bringing depth to the design of this shade. The lamp’s base and shade are both signed Handel. The shade is signed twice, once on the metal rim and also on the shade it’s self. The detailed figural base is very unusual and well done, featuring a lady kneeling with an urn resting on her shoulder. Underneath felt appears to have been replaced over the years. Exceptional condition. There are three light sockets in this lamp providing ample light wherever you might choose to display and use this lamp. Measures 24″ height to the top finial and 18″ diameter shade. The lamp’s pedestal base measures 7″ x 6 1/2″ at the base. This lamp is beautiful whether it is lit or off and will be sure to be a highlight in your home or office.
