What an amazing piece of American history is this primitve and cast iron working horse harness making machine that was designed by the inventor, Herman Doering. We have a print out of the patent information and then also embossed on the cast iron top piece is the wordage, ‘Doerings Pat. – Pat May 3, ’92’ This piece is from 1892! Note that the foot pedal is still in working condition and opens and closes the the cast iron top clamp. The overall measurements of this piece are 24″ long, 44 1/2″ high, and 22″ wide.
