All original and with exceptional original graphics is this antique on the back carrying fire extinguisher that was made by the D.B. Smith & Company, out of Utica, New York and is called the Indian No. 90 Fire Extinguisher. There is patent dates on the original labels dating from September of 1930 to August of 1932. The labels come with detailed instructions that state, For Fire: Sling tank on your back, Operate Pump and Direct Stream on the Fire with Nozzle. There is also Maintenance and Directions on how to prevent the tank from Freezing. Note the two detailed photos, one of a firefighter and the second a forest ranger using the Indian Fire Extinguisher to put out fires. Excellent graphics! Also notice the two graphic designs of the Native American Indian chiefs on this original label that are very eye catching! If you collect fire fighting collectibles or Native American items then this all original Indian fire extinguisher is a must for your collection. The fire extinguisher measures 18″ high to the top of the brass nozzle when secured in the top holding bracket. And the can measures 13 1/2″ x 7″ on the base. Notice that the top of the extinguisher has the original air vent that has raised letters stating it was made by the D.B. Smith & Company for the Indian Extinguisher. As well as the brass nozzle has an original label that one can still read was for the Indian fire pump. This is an wonderful find! The original condition and the detailed graphics on this Indian Fire Extinguisher are remarkable!
