Antique cast iron fluting or crimping iron that is dated with the Patent date of August 2, 1870. Notice that there is also a locking mechanism on this iron. This iron also comes with a cast iron trivet type underplate. Measurements are 6 3/4″ long, 5″ high to the top of the handle, and 3 3/4″ wide at the widest point.
