We are thrilled to be able to offer for sale this all original old Vindex cast iron John Deere manure spreader toy complete with the team of cast iron horses. This toy is highly sought by collectors and is a featured toy in the reference book Cast Iron Toys by Myra Outwater & Eric B. Outwater and Stevie & Bill Weart on page 215. Our toy also is complete with the team of pulling horses and together this set measures 14 1/2″ long and the highest point is 4″ high and 4 1/2″ wide. Notice that on the side of the wagon there is still the original partial label that reads, ‘Vindex Toys’. This is a great find, and we are thrilled to be able to offer this toy to our customers. This toy is the real operating toy replica of the John Deere spreader and would date to the late 1920’s to the early 1930’s.
