Exceptional all original antique cloth tape measure that advertises, ‘John Deere Moline, Illinois’. Notice that the one side has a portrait of John Deere. There is the quote, ‘John Deere – He gave to the World the Steel Plow’, and on the opposite side is the deer logo with ‘John Deere – Moline, Ill – the trade mark of quality made famous by Good Implements’. This tape measure is marked on the side in small print, ‘Parisian Novelty Company – Chicago – Pat 7-10-17 and Pat 11-4-19’. This tape measure is 1 1/2″ in diameter, the width is 3/8″ wide for the cloth tape. If you collect John Deere then this tape measure will be a must for your collection!
