Antique Reading Floor Lamp Reverse Painted Handel – Treasure Island scene. This glass shade is beautiful. The moon reflects on the Sailing Ship out on the water on one side and on the other has the tropical bay of palm trees and foliage. The shade diameter 10″. The height of the standing floor lamp is 58″ and the shade will pivot the direction you would like the light projected. Lamp shade is marked Handel 6574. This lamp is referred in the Handel Lamps Book by Falco and Hibel page 208. Circa 1917.
