This old deer as several layers of old paint. The standing cast-iron deer form was a favorite garden figure from the early 1900’s.
We purchased this deer from Mr. Bykowicz of Darien, Illinois. This deer had been in the back yard of a home in Brookfield, Illinois that came with the house when it was purchased in 1966. Measures 61″ height, base is 18″ x 48″.
